We aim to transcend the limitations of materialist metaphysics, recognizing that consciousness is not merely a byproduct of physical processes but a fundamental aspect of the universe.

The Challenge

In today's world, we often find ourselves constrained by a materialist metaphysics—the belief that all that exists is matter, an abstract entity perceived as separate and independent from consciousness. This perspective, often mistaken for the essence of science, restricts our understanding of reality. The scientific method is a tool to understand how nature behaves, not to define the true nature of existence.

This materialist view gained widespread acceptance in the latter half of the nineteenth century. However, its continued dominance is more a result of intellectual inertia and inherited assumptions than of rigorous reasoning, solid evidence, or explanatory power. Recent evidence from foundational physics, neuroscience, and analytic philosophy increasingly challenges the validity of materialism.

Despite these challenges, the cultural dominance of materialist metaphysics continues to have far-reaching—and often detrimental—implications for both individuals and society.
